Need End of Summer Fun Idea? – The Lily Pad Village –Aska Area in Blue Ridge
Is your family looking for more summer fun? Yes, it is quickly coming to an end! If you are seeking a beautiful place surrounded by nature, check out The Lily Pad Village. What a great new adventure for the kids!
This fun kid’s spot is located off the Aska area which is beautiful in itself! There are so many activites that can be enjoyed at this cool place. You can play outdoor mini golf in a neat mountain setting, mine for beautiful gems, fish, as well as take a guided hike tour. The best thing about this place besides the setting is the family friendly atmosphere. They want each person to have a great time and they do whatever it takes to make that happen.
The putt putt coarse is one of the few offered in this area. You will enjoy not only playing on the coarse but all the nature that surrounds it! The Gem mining is in a rustic flume with a covered area for various weather conditions. The staff is very friendly and helpful to the kids as they mine for these various beautiful gems. The fishing area is great too! The Lily pad pond is stocked full of catfish, blue gills and bass mainly. It is fun to see how excited the children get when they catch something. Another great activity offered at The Lily Pad Village is a guided hiking tour! A friendly tour guide will take your family on a two to three hour easy to moderate hike to various beautiful falls in the area.
There are so many things offered at this awesome nature spot! They have various price packages and you can figure out what is best for your family. You can do one activity or do them all. Whatever you do, it will be an experience you and the kids or grandchildren will no doubt remember. If you don’t take the guided tour, head to the short hike right down the road at Fall Branch Falls to end your day. Enjoy!!
