Cafe Portofino-Quality Dining in beautiful Hiawassee
Are you needing some different ideas for a nice, quaint date spot for you and your special someone? If you’re not, you should be!!! Cafe Portofino would be a wonderful place to visit if you have not yet had the opportunity to dine at this amazing restaurant located in the beautiful town of Hiawassee in the North Georgia Mountains.
Cafe Portofino is a classy place that has an italian influence in many of their entrees. I like the fact that they offer a lot of italian food as well as seafood and steaks. I can say that I had the most amazing shrimp tortellini while enjoying dining with a beautiful lake view. You will pay approximately $25 per plate while some are more or less.
Not only do you receive the nice food and atmosphere but there is live music and dancing on Saturdays to go along with your elegant evening. There is a beautiful white grand piano in the room called the Firelight. Happy hour specials are from 4 to 6pm. They are open every day except Sundays. You can also take a family to this restaurant and they offer excellent kids plates for $5.
I hope you enjoy your evening out….make it a date weekend and stay at the beautiful Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa. Men, I think you could score some points with your sweetie by choosing a weekend away in Hiawassee! That’s always important!
