Union County Scavenger Hunt – Now till End of October!

I absolutely love scavenger hunts, do you?  The other day my daughter’s 9 to 11 year old church group from Ridge Community Church in Blue Ridge, had one.  I was one of the drivers for 4 very giggly girls.  What a blast we had as we had to do crazy things from getting a crowd in a restaurant to sing with us, to finding an unusual rock and bring it back and the we had to sing, “I’ve Been Working on the Railroad”, as we stood in front of the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway Train and bring back a video to prove we had taken the challenge to embarrass ourselves enough!!

Well, Union County won’t have you do anything quite so embarrassing but starting now until the end of October you can download a copy of their scavenger hunt and begin exploring 20 different locations and adventures in Blairsville!  The event is free but they are certain you will find some cool treasures you may want to purchase while visiting new locations you have never been or revisiting places that you have forgotten about!

You can do this scavenger hunt at your own pace, but be sure and turn in your proof of completion by October 31,st….HALLOWEEN!!! - to qualify to win prizes.  Happy hunting in beautiful Blairsville.  Let me know if you end up finding some really awesome stuff!
