Friends of Fannin County Public Library Host Book Sale – Oct 12th through 14th

I always love a good used book sale!  The Friends of the Fannin County Public Library, an all volunteer organization that dedicates their time to fundraising for the library, is hosting a book sale October 12th through 14th during the Arts in the Park Festival, at the Blue Ridge United Methodist Church fellowship hall on West Main Street.

The proceeds from the book sale benefit the library in buying new books!  Each year, the Friends of the Library have two book sales and throughout the year they work on other fundraising events to keep our library where it needs to be!  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or supporter, you can check out Friends of the Fannin County Public Library.

They are always seeking financial donations as well as used books, cds and dvds.  These can be dropped off at the library or at the book bin at Ingles.  One of the book sales they did last year raised $2,008 to go towards buying much needed new children’s books!  Show your support while you are visiting at Arts in the Park.  Happy reading!!!
