A Kid’s Heaven – Fun World at Fieldstone – Young Harris Ga.
I’m already beginning to think about the very chilly mountain days that lie ahead and some creative ways to release my children’s energy! When I discovered Fun World in Young Harris, near Hiawassee, I was very excited! What a great place for kids to run around, get exercise and have a blast.
Fun World is currently open on the weekends and is full of exactly what it says…FUN! In this facility you will find a variety of activities to keep the kids hopping! I love that they have a “toddler town” where children 10 and under can play in the castle bounce house or foam factory without worrying about the big kids knocking them over! There is also the Air Zone, that has inflatables, including a cool inflatable obstacle course. My kids love the arcade and most of all the skating rink that has a good stereo system so my daughter can “get her groove on” as she says! The mechanical bull is a hit as well. The competitive nature in my son really comes out when he is on this!
You can check their website for rates and hours. I feel it is reasonable for the fun your kids are able to have. There is also a place to eat, called Eatzies, that serves your typical kids favorite foods from pizza to ice cream. I enjoy buying the family dinner package that includes free arcade coins for the kids.
I think you should put this on the bucket list to visit if you are visiting the mountains, are a current resident and have not had the opportunity to venture here yet or perhaps you own a second home in the mountains and the grandkids are here to visit! This would be a perfect place to bring them. If they are still raring to go for more fun, take them across the street to a movie at Fieldstone Cinemas.…Then hopefully end the day with a fabulous meal at Cafe Portofino! Have a great time and hope this helps release some of their energy!
