A Great Holiday Getaway -The Lodge at Copperhead – Blairsville

Are you looking for a relaxing and beautiful place to take your family during the holidays?  Some people prefer leaving some of the stress of life at home, escaping it all and enjoying God’s beauty in the North Georgia Mountains.   If that is you, you may want to consider a visit to the 40 acre resort called The Lodge at Copperhead.

Not only can you visit during the holidays but anytime during the year!  They specialize in weddings and special events as well.  There is a 12,500 square foot lodge that has a beautiful grand lobby with a massive fireplace which certainly sounds great right now in this chilly weather!  In the lodge, there is a dining facility that serves “comfort food with an attitude.” There is also a full service bar and many times there is various forms of entertainment.  You can choose to vacation in the lodge or you can rent one of their fully furnished log cabins which are located in different spots around the resort.

The Lodge was built in 2006 and is located only 80 miles north of Atlanta near popular motorcycle trails such as The Dragons Trail and Blue Ridge Parkway.  Many cyclists enjoy staying at this beautiful lodge.  Some of the most popular features at the lodge are “the Porch” which is a full wrap around porch to sit and enjoy the view and the beautiful outdoor fireplace as well. “The Yard” is used often in the summer where many special events take place.
