Chad Lariscy, born and raised in Blue Ridge and residing in Blairsville now for 18 years, is definitely no stranger to life in the North Georgia Mountains. His knowledge of the area as well as his background in real estate makes him an excellent team owner, manager and motivator of The Mountain Life Team. Chad primarily works with sellers as a Listing Specialist where he utilizes his heavy marketing skills to sell your home. He has been enjoying the challenges and competition of the real estate market for 8 years as a licensed agent. One of his greatest joys he receives from this business is the lifelong friendships that are made and knowing that he helped to make people’s mountain living dreams come true
Before Chad worked in real estate, he was owner of a furniture, appliance and lighting store in Blue Ridge for 10 years. This helped him gain knowledge in the real estate business as well. Knowing that he enjoyed homes and people, Chad felt that real estate would be a perfect fit for him. He also believes in being very active in the community. He belongs to the National Association of Realtors®. He was a Charter Member for the Blue Ridge Rotary Club, where he received the Rotarian of the Year award as well as becoming a Paul Harris Fellow. The Mountain Life Team also serves as members of the Gilmer, Fannin, Union and Towns Chambers of Commerce.
Chad has been married to Kristi for almost 20 years! They have 3 children…Madison (15), Bryson (11) and Kaden (4) Chad enjoys spending time with his family in many ways including coaching his children’s ball teams. He and his family are very active in church and strive each day to live a God centered life. Playing golf is an activity that he thoroughly enjoys as well. He truly sees real estate as something he loves, therefore, being with his customers gives him great satisfaction.
Recently Chad had a past client call wanting to buy a second home from him. (Really his second home he had purchased from Chad). He came up and The Mountain Life Team sold him a cabin on his first trip to Blue Ridge. A couple of months later he called wanting to list both of the cabins he had purchased from Chad to buy 1 larger (nicer) home here in North Georgia. Within 45 days, The Mountain Life Team had both of his cabins under contract, and the cabin that he was purchasing under contract. Tanya Pertschi – Team Coordinator | Closing Specialist

Great with numbers, detail and anything administrative, Tanya Pertschi helps The Mountain Life Team make sure all I’s are dotted and t’s are crossed from contract to close. Her professional background of working on closings for title insurance companies and closing attorneys gives her experience in being precise and keen in making sure the closing process is smooth.
Over the past years, Tanya discovered how much she enjoyed the real estate title insurance business. Loving numbers and feeling as if she were playing detective in the process, she quickly became an expert at fixing settlement statements and balancing escrow accounts. Through dedication and hard work, she moved up the corporate ladder to a director of operations position and then shortly thereafter became a licensed title agent; all while working in Florida. From there she relocated to Georgia and began working for closing attorneys. After continuing to gain knowledge in the real estate industry, she joined Keller Williams. Tanya’s love for real estate, knowledge of the process and heavy administrative experience make her a valuable asset to The Mountain Life Team and their clients.
Tanya has a 19 year old son and has been residing in Blairsville with her husband since 2004. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family. Working out and reading a good book in her spare time, are also activities that she likes. The fact that she enjoys hosting parties at her home, helps to show you that she is detailed, friendly and outgoing. When clients speak with Tanya, they can truly feel she cares about their situation and wants to make sure their closing process is exactly as it should be.

Kellie Nuckolls, Social Media Coordinator for The Mountain Life Team, updates our company website, Facebook and monthly newsletter to keep our customers and clients, community businesses and leaders, as well as friends and family informed on various types of information including the real estate market, community news, upcoming events and festivals, great places to eat, sightseeing destinations as well as places to sleep and shop when you visit the North Georgia Mountains. The main counties she writes about are Fannin, Union, Gilmer and Towns.
Kellie has a public relations and journalism degree from Georgia State University. Her background includes working as a Community Relations Representative for Brannell College, a Staffing Manager for Randstad Staffing Services and most recently as an auditor for Inventiv Healthcare. She thoroughly enjoys writing, public speaking, and customer service. Kellie believes that communication is a key to success in all relationships including professional and personal.
Kellie has been married to Will for 20 years. They have two children, Allison (10) and Andrew (8). They are from Marietta, Georgia and moved to Blue Ridge this past summer to start a life in the beautiful North Georgia Mountains. They have both always enjoyed visiting the mountains and then decided living permanently there was their true desire and felt it would be a wonderful place to raise their two children. With the help of The Mountain Life Team, they found property and are in the beginning stages of home building!
Kellie enjoys spending time with friends and family whenever she can. She is very active in her children’s school as a volunteer, serves as a Girl Scout Troop Leader for her daughter’s fourth grade troop and is a leader at The Ridge Community Church in Blue Ridge for the 9 to 11 year old group. If there is ever any spare time, which is rare when you have two little ones, she loves to scrapbook.

Steve Foster, a buying specialist for The Mountain Life Team has been in the real estate industry for 11 years. Steve thoroughly enjoys being able to introduce his clients to the beautiful North Georgia Mountains and helping them to see the many reasons why living here is a wonderful experience. Steve prefers to be out and about previewing new homes as they come on the market or familiarizing himself with neighborhoods so that he can pass on knowledge first hand to his clients.
Steve and his wife Shannon are both lifelong residents of Blairsville and have been married for almost 15 years. Together they share their home with two cats, Dora and Baby! In Steve’s spare time from selling real estate, he enjoys playing music and does it often in a band where they perform in various venues in Atlanta. He also is an avid reader and enjoys golfing and going to the gym when he gets the opportunity.

During his 26 year career in law enforcement as an investigator in South Florida, Dennis Marcott desired a change. He knew he would like to retire from police work so he began buying and fixing up properties for a profit. In 2002, he received his real estate license and continued developing his knowledge in real estate. He officially retired from law enforcement in 2007 and relocated to Blue Ridge, Georgia where he began to pursue his dream of selling mountain homes.
Dennis currently serves as a buying agent for The Mountain Life Team and may also be serving as a listing agent in the near future. His greatest joy he receives from his job is working with clients and helping them realize their dream of moving to the beautiful mountain area in exchange for a better lifestyle. His wife Jenny, whom he recently married, will be joining the team very soon as well! Dennis has one daughter whom is a graduate of Union County High School and he and Jenny reside in Blairsville.
Dennis, who believes in living a Godly and healthy lifestyle, enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, mountain biking, running and weightlifting. He also proudly volunteers for Habitat for Humanity in Fannin and Gilmer Counties and serves as a family selection committee member for Union and Towns Counties.

As a native, Steve is familiar with all the development in the county as well as other surrounding areas. He enjoys the fact that being in real estate, he gets to be heavily involved in the progress of development. His hopes are to help his customers find the joys of the simpler way of life and other joys involved with mountain living.
Before Steve found his career as an agent, some of his past experience included working as a dental technician for 9 years and a purchasing agent. Currently Steve focuses as a buyer’s agent for The Mountain Life Team. He believes his main strengths as an agent are his honesty, follow through from beginning to end, his flexibility and good people skills
Steve says what he enjoys most about real estate is that you get to meet people from all parts of the country and all walks of life. He loves Blairsville and enjoys sharing with others the benefits of mountain living. As a native of Blairsville, he has seen a great deal of change in the area. He feels it is exciting to see the development and with real estate you get to be part of the progress. He believes Blairsville and other North Georgia Mountain communities have great opportunities for people wanting a simpler way of life and this provides him the opportunity to help others find their dream home.
Steve has been married to Carla Colwell (also a native of Blairsville) since 1988. Together they have two boys, Ralston (16) and Sawyer (11). Some of Steve’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, watching his sons play ball, Tennessee football, the Atlanta Braves and spending quality time with his family.
